The Danbury Museum and Historic First Congregational Church will host a free Independence Day commemoration Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. The event includes a public reading of the Declaration of Independence, patriotic music and a community bell-ringing at 2:50 p.m. to celebrate the nation’s 250th birthday.
