Newtown's rate increased a bit to 2.2-percent. New Fairfield's COVID-19 infection rate over the last two weeks reported has held steady, New Milford's rate increased nearly a percentage point to 2.4-percent.
The state's daily COVID-19 test positivity rate yesterday was 1.7-percent. There was no change in the number of people being treated in the hospital for COVID-19. The inpatient total yesterday was 230.
