STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) A rare Ferrari Enzo sports car has been heavily damaged in a crash on Interstate 95.

State police tell the Stamford Advocate the car was being driven by a technician for Miller Motorcars, a Greenwich-based luxury car dealership, when it crashed on an interstate entrance ramp on Monday morning.

Police say the 650-horsepower car began to fishtail on the northbound entrance ramp, struck the a bridge wall, then spun across three lanes of traffic and crashed into the center divider.

The driver and a passenger escaped serious injury.

Ferrari built fewer than 400 of the cars, which are each valued at more than $600,000.

Michael Fux of New Jersey, a multimillionaire who made his fortune in mattresses, owns this one.

The dealership declined to comment on the accident.
