Police: Greenwich woman threatened housekeeper

GREENWICH, Conn. (AP) A Greenwich woman faces larceny and disorderly conduct charges after police say she threatened her housekeeper with a golf club and stole from the woman during a dispute over perceived property damage.

Fifty-six-year-old Shari Lampart is free after posting $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Aug. 1.

Police tell the Greenwich Time Lampart confronted the housekeeper on June 29 over the woman's job performance and accused her of causing damage to the house in the tony New York suburb.

Police say that as the argument escalated, Lampart grabbed the golf club. They say she later broke into the woman's car and took money from her purse.

Lampart does not have a listed phone number and attempts to reach her Wednesday were unsuccessful.
