MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (AP) State police are seeking witnesses as they investigate a motorcycle accident in Middletown that killed a Watertown man.
Troopers say 24-year-old Jamell Harrell lost control of his motorcycle on the Exit 10 on-ramp to Route 9 near the Haddam line Sunday afternoon. Authorities say Harrell hit a metal guardrail and was thrown onto the southbound lanes.
He was flown by helicopter to Hartford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
State police say it's not clear what caused the crash, and they're asking witnesses to call the Westbrook barracks.
