STRATFORD, Conn. (AP) Police have charged two 14-year-olds with painting swastikas and racist graffiti on a vacant home, trees and signs in Stratford.
Police Capt. Paul DosSantos says the teens both face a criminal mischief charge. One of them also was charged with a hate crime.
Their names are not being released and the cases are being handled in Juvenile Court.
Police say the graffiti also included other Nazi symbols and the letters ``WP,'' apparently an abbreviation for ``White Power.''
It was discovered by residents last month in a one-block area near the intersection of Wilcoxon Avenue and Charleton Street.
