Hip hop artist charged in killing of Hamden man

HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) Police have made a second arrest in the shooting death of a resident after he answered his door.

Police say Nicholas Papantoniou, who goes by his professional artist name ``Nickel P,'' was arrested last week in connection with the Oct. 19 killing of Larry Dildy at his Hamden home.

Papantoniou, a Stratford musician, was charged with felony murder, home invasion, conspiracy to commit home invasion, conspiracy to commit robbery and other charges.

East Haven resident William Coutermash was charged in October in connection with the Oct. 19 killing of the 56-year-old Dildy.

Papantoniou was held on $1 million bail.

It wasn't known if he's represented by a lawyer. He's due in court Dec. 9.
