Neighbor charged after bullet hole found in apartment wall

MANCHESTER, Conn. (AP) A Manchester man faces numerous charges after police say he fired a shot that went through the wall of a neighbor's apartment.

Police say they began investigating after the neighbor found the bullet hole Tuesday in her children's bedroom, which is adjacent to the apartment rented by 36-year-old Nicholas Ibsen.

Police later stopped Ibsen as he was driving on a nearby street. Police say they found drugs in his car, and a stolen .38-caliber gun in his apartment.

Police say he admitted accidently firing the weapon on Monday. His neighbors were not home at the time.

Ibsen was being held Wednesday in lieu of $250,000 bond pending his arraignment on drug and gun charges.
