Massage therapist accused of sexually assaulting 2 women

SHELTON, Conn. (AP) - A New York man is facing charges after police say he sexually assaulted two women while massaging them at a Connecticut spa.

Police on Tuesday arrested 53-year-old Kim Hyung, of Fresh Meadows. He's charged with two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and two counts of practicing massage therapy without a license.

Police say a 38-year-old woman reported May 6 that Hyung had assaulted her during a massage at Coco Spa in Shelton. On May 28, a 36-year-old woman reported to police that Hyung had assaulted her during a massage at the spa.

Investigators learned that Hyung does not have a license to practice massage therapy.

He's being held on $15,000 bond.

Hyung's lawyer told WVIT-TV outside of court Tuesday that it's important that people understand there's a presumption of innocence.
