HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) A Windsor Locks man who sexually assaulted a teenage girl and sent sexually explicit messages to a teenage boy has been sentenced to nearly eight years in prison.
Andrew Cotton was also sentenced Thursday to 10 years of special parole.
The Hartford Courant reports that the 26-year-old Cotton pleaded guilty in June to second-degree sexual assault and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.
Prosecutors called Cotton a controlling, manipulative, narcissistic man with violent tendencies who is unable to accept responsibility for his crimes and directs blame to others.
Authorities said previously the girl was a family friend and the sexual contact occurred when she was 14 and 15.
The 14-year-old male victim was described as ``lower functioning'' and all contact was via the Internet.
