HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) Two men have been arrested following a drive-by shooting that left a 10-year-old girl with a gunshot wound to the face in Hartford earlier this month.
Police say the shooter in the Nov. 6 incident was a 17-year-old Hartford male. They say the driver was 22-year-old Kwanze Fluker, of Bloomfield.
The unnamed teen was expected in juvenile court Wednesday. He faces first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and other charges.
Fluker will be arraigned Monday in Superior Court on a charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree assault. He's also a suspect in other recent shootings.
It couldn't be immediately determined if the two had lawyers.
The Hartford Courant reports a bullet remains lodged beneath the girl's eye but is to be removed this week. Police say a family member had been the intended target.
