The annual Portuguese Day celebration returns to Danbury on Sunday, June 7. The event will feature a flag-raising ceremony, a church service, a parade through downtown, and a community picnic with food, music, dancing, games, and cultural performances. Organizers say local officials, community groups, and residents are expected to take part in the daylong celebration.
