A proposal to selectively harvest oak trees on a portion of a large New Milford farm is under review by local officials. The project would involve thinning trees across about 35 acres and is expected to be discussed by the town’s wetlands commission in June. Supporters say the work is designed to improve forest management while producing lumber and firewood.
