A fundraising campaign is underway to support a documentary on the 1777 Battle of Ridgefield. The Ridgefield Historical Society is aiming to raise 100-thousand dollars to complete the project. The film will highlight new archaeological discoveries and research shedding light on Connecticut’s only inland Revolutionary War battle, with plans to share the story ahead of the nation’s 250th anniversary.
