Connecticut has issued cease-and-desist orders to nine companies accused of offering illegal sports wagers, including Coinbase, Robinhood and Crypto.com. The state also issued nearly 30 subpoenas to businesses and media organizations believed to have relevant information. Officials say only licensed sportsbooks may legally offer sports betting in Connecticut.
