Three teenagers and an adult are being honored for saving three swimmers at Candlewood Lake’s Chicken Rock in August. The Candlewood Lake Authority recognized George Nanos, Hannah Welling, Jaden Vazquez and Keen Cercy at a Sherman ceremony. Officials say Welling performed CPR, restoring one swimmer’s pulse as the others helped bring swimmers to safety.
