Danbury Hospital has dropped its multimillion-dollar lawsuit against UnitedHealthcare over claims the insurer underpaid Medicare Advantage reimbursements in bad faith. The hospital had accused the company of unfair payment practices and sought at least one million dollars on several counts before withdrawing the case in Superior Court without comment.
