A major annual fundraiser in Danbury is set to return next month, supporting services for local veterans and members of the military community. The 17th annual golf tournament hosted by the Danbury War Memorial is scheduled for May 27 at Richter Park Golf Course, featuring a full day of events including lunch, a shotgun start, and evening dinner. Proceeds will help fund the organization’s Stand Down program, which connects veterans with essential services and resources. Organizers say the event also includes contests, prizes, and sponsorship opportunities, with registration open to individuals and teams.
